PRG Study Hall FAQ

• How Do I Reserve A Spot?

  Registration can be done online or by phone at 877-822-ROPE.  If you are requesting a payment plan, please email kids@philarockgym.com.

  Using our online registration system:
  1.  Click the “REGISTER TODAY” button above.

  2.  Choose the Package you would like to purchase.  When you buy a Package, you are purchasing Multiple Days that you will then be able to schedule for any open spots we have on our calendar. (Please note, Packages cannot be shared amongst clients.)

  3.  Enter your information in the required fields.  Enter your child’s name and age in the notes section.

  4.  Read the Terms and Conditions and check the box to accept.

  5.  Click the “Pay Now and Complete Order” button.

  6.  Under the words “Thank you” is a link that reads “Schedule”.   Click this button to choose the days for which you would like to register your child.

  7.  You will be able to schedule one day at a time.  Be sure to choose the PRG location you are scheduling for carefully.

  8.  Enter the child’s information then click “Complete Appointment”

• How Do I Reserve A Spot For More Than One Child?

  Follow the above directions when enrolling a second child. Each child must be enrolled individually. Packages cannot be split amongst siblings.

• Does My Child Need Climbing Experience?

  No, PRG’s Study Hall program requires no prior climbing experience whatsoever!

• Do You Have To Be A PRG Member To Participate?

  No. The cost of camp includes climbing time and equipment rental, as well as expert instruction. However, PRG Members enjoy 10% off the cost of Seasonal Camps!

• What Will PRG Provide Each Day?

  Each day of Study Hall, the PRG will provide:

  • a 5:1 child to PRG staff ratio
  • a dedicated work area during independant classwork times
  • plenty of table space
  • WIFI
  • supervision throughout the entire day and during all activities (8 AM- 5 PM)
  • morning and afternoon snack
  • expert climbing instruction outside of classwork, snack and lunch times
  • a daily craft activity

• What Should My Child Bring Each Day?

  Please send your child(ren) with the following each day:

  • lunch
  • water bottle
  • mask
  • any supplies needed to work on classwork* (i.e. writing utensils, assignments, books, tablets, laptop, charging cords, headphones, etc.)
  • climbing gear such as rock shoes and harness (rentals are included with each day of Study Hall if your child does not have these items)

  *The PRG is not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen or forgotten items.

• Are There Any Other Requirements For Climbing At PRG?

  All participants must have a completed PRG waiver form, signed by a parent or legal guardian if the participant is under 18.  Click here to sign PRG’s online waiver.

  Parents will also be asked to sign PRG’s new COVID waiver for each attendee.

  As per the governor’s order, all camp staff and Study Hall attendees will be required to wear a mask throughout the day.  Click here for more info on PRG’s COVID-19 Response Plan.

  All participants are guests of the PRG and are required to obey all PRG rules.

• Are In-Service And Academic Days Off Included In PRG Study Hall Offerings?

  Yes.  PRG is offering 11 weeks, Monday through Friday, from September 7th to November 20th with no schedule interruption.

• What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

  Drop off is 9 AM and pick up is 3 PM each day.  However, all families are welcome to arrive as early as 8 AM and pick up as late as 5 PM at no extra charge.

• Cancellation Policy

  Study Hall dues are fully refundable up to 3 days before the reserved date. Within or after that 3 day period, a credit for the full amount will be offered which does not expire and can be used toward other products or services at PRG.

  If you wish to switch to a different day or week, every effort will be made to accommodate at no additional cost. Please note: since each day has a limited number of available spots, we cannot guarantee availability for a different date.
