What You are Saying
Challenging and fun. This gym is great as a group team building outing or a solo hobby pursuit. I came here on an Intro to Climbing package and I ended up getting a membership because I loved it so much.

This gym does a great job and keeping the place clean (hard with all that climbing chalk dust!) And encouraging a family-friendly atmosphere. My husband climbs multiple times a week, and I recently took the Into to Climbing class and learned to belay and Boulder. We enjoy going together as an alternative to the standard "dinner and a movie" when we can get a babysitter.

As a beginner, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at PRG! The staff made me feel welcome and supported from the moment I walked through their doors.
Gabriela RiveraPRG Wyncote
Welcoming and helpful staff, well priced, solid selection and variety of boulder problems, taped instead of monochrome routes which can add a layer of difficulty, great discount membership offer and student discount too.

Guide services faqs
Please note: All trips require a $150 deposit at the time of booking.
All guide services require a $150 deposit to guarantee your reservation. Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance. The deposit is refundable up to two weeks before the booked date, and transferable up to one week prior to the booked date, after which time it can no longer be applied toward an alternate booking.
Rain is an (un)fortunate part of outdoor climbing! If it looks like inclement weather on the date of your scheduled trip, your guide will notify you a few days in advance. They will work with you to reschedule your trip, or schedule an alternative service.
Maximums typically vary by service and location. Please email us for additional information.
We recommend non-restrictive, athletic clothing and sneakers or hiking shoes. Weather can be somewhat unpredictable so come prepared! Bring layers and pack rain gear just in case.
Every participant will need a completed waiver to participate in guided trips.
We also suggest you bring plenty of snacks and water for your day trips. There is also a Walmart and a climbing gear shop near the New River Gorge to purchase items when you get there.
For multi-day trips, please check your trip details for additional information, or email us with questions.
All participants must have a completed waiver form. All participants are guests of the PRG and are required to obey all PRG rules.
